How We Earn
The short version
This site earns money exactly one way: Fizz’s referral program, the same one any member can use. When a new member activates an eligible plan ($20 a month or more) with the code shown here, the Fizz account behind that code receives a $25 credit, applied at that member’s two-month anniversary — roughly two months after activation. Those credits can only reduce our own Fizz bills: they aren’t cash, and they can’t be transferred.
That’s it. That is the entire business model.
Why this page exists (beyond honesty)
Fizz’s own program terms require anyone who shares a referral code to disclose that they receive a reward for it. So this page isn’t just a matter of principle — it’s a program obligation, and we take it seriously; hence the exact amounts above.
What we don’t do
- No payment from Fizz, Videotron, or Quebecor. They don’t sponsor us, review us, or know us. This site is independent.
- No ads. Nothing on this site is a paid placement.
- No affiliate networks. Our only earnings flow through the referral program described above.
- No inflated claims. Your bonus is $25 guaranteed — possibly $40 outside Quebec, but fizz.ca’s own pages contradict each other on that, and we document the contradiction rather than advertise the bigger number.
What changes for you?
Nothing — literally. The new-member bonus is set by Fizz and is identical with every code. Using ours never costs you a cent more. Leaving the field empty, though, means giving up the bonus for good: Fizz doesn’t apply codes retroactively, and there is only one code field at checkout, shared between referral codes and promo codes.
We don’t even know who you are
Fizz referral codes are anonymous: five characters, no name attached. When someone uses ours, we see a credit appear two months later — that’s all. Fizz passes us no name, no number, nothing else. (More in our privacy policy.)
You don’t have to use our code
Honestly. If a friend or family member is already on Fizz, use their code — they’ll receive the $25 credit, and your bonus is exactly the same. If you choose ours, the credit pays for the verification work that keeps this site accurate and free — how we verify shows where that effort goes.
