About This Site
Who runs this site
A small, independent Canadian team. We don’t work for Fizz, Videotron, or Quebecor, and nobody there reviews what we publish. We use the service we write about — the referral code on this site belongs to a real, active Fizz account, because you can’t have a code otherwise.
fizz.mobilereferrals.ca is part of MobileReferrals.ca, which also runs a sister guide for Public Mobile (public.mobilereferrals.ca). This site is written French-first — Fizz is a Quebec brand — with this English edition kept in step. The team stays anonymous, but nothing else here is: every number has a source, every page has a date, and how we earn is spelled out in plain language.
Why we built this site
Try answering a simple question: is the Fizz new-member bonus $25 or $40? On July 14, 2026, fizz.ca gave both answers at once — $25 on its official program pages in all five regions it serves, $40 on its mobile-plans page in the Ontario variant. When the official site contradicts itself, referral-code sites don’t help: they post the bigger number and hope nobody checks. We document the contradiction instead, with dated captures.
And the details that actually matter are scattered across forum threads: there is a single code field at checkout, shared between referral codes and promo codes; a forgotten code can’t be added after activation; the bonus requires a plan of at least $20 a month. We gather all of it here, with dates.
Our editorial principles
- Official numbers only. We publish the amounts Fizz publishes: $25 for the new member, $25 for the referrer, at the two-month anniversary. And when official pages conflict — as they do right now over the $40 — we show the conflict rather than pick the flashier figure.
- Every page is dated. You can see when a page was published and when it was last checked — never a “July 2026” headline wrapped around last year’s information.
- No “best code” claims. Fizz referral codes are five characters long and all give the identical new-member bonus. A site telling you its code pays more than the others is telling you something false. Ours works exactly as well as anyone’s — no better.
- We disclose how we earn. If you activate with the code shown here, we receive a $25 credit on our Fizz bill. Fizz’s own program terms actually require this disclosure from anyone sharing a code — details on how we earn.
How we check our facts
A script fetches the official program pages every day — in French and English, across all five regional variants of fizz.ca — and alerts us to any change. A manual review happens monthly on top. The full log, including what we haven’t tested yet (like a complete activation run), is on how we verify.
Found a mistake?
If a number on this site is wrong or out of date, we want to know today, not next month. Contact us — we check against the official source and fix it within a day, with the change dated.
Frequently asked questions
Are you affiliated with Fizz or Videotron?
No. This site is independent. "Fizz" is a trademark of Videotron Ltd., which we use only to describe the referral program we write about. Nobody at Fizz, Videotron, or Quebecor reviews our pages.
How does this site make money?
Exactly one way: when someone activates a plan with the code shown here, we receive a $25 credit on our own Fizz bill at that person's two-month anniversary. Details are on how we earn.
Does your code give a bigger bonus?
No — no code does. Every Fizz referral code gives the identical new-member bonus. If someone you know is already on Fizz, use their code: your bonus will be exactly the same.
Is the bonus $25 or $40?
fizz.ca's own official pages conflict: $25 on the program pages in all five regions, $40 on one page in its Ontario variant. We document the contradiction, with dated captures, on our dedicated page.
